Objectives:
1.Reducing the intensity of conflict and contributing to peace building and conflict transformation
2. Strengthening the concept of acceptance of the other and peaceful coexistence
3. Integration of the displaced into the host community
4. Community outreach and relief and psychological support for returnees
5. Community awareness of the concepts of civic education
6. Advocate for women’s issues and reduce all forms of gender-based violence
7. Use traditional strategies of poetry and festivals to strengthen peace initiatives.
Activities:
1- Establishing community dialogues between community peace stakeholders
2- Holding seminars with the civil administration to discuss the common visions and strategies that contribute to the peace building process
3- Establishing inter-ethnic forums to promote the concept of acceptance of the other
4- Holding heritage festivals to promote the concept of diversity to achieve peaceful coexistence
5- Holding sports matches to build confidence between the host community and the displaced
6- Conducting awareness campaigns on civic education
7- Organizing workshops to enlighten about the laws, conventions and international resolutions concerned with women in conflict areas
8- Establishing popular poetry forums for rulers and poets to move societies peacefullysupported
